BOUNCE IMAGING RELEASES NEW COLOR-IR and 4G RESCUE CAMERAS AT

FIRE-RESCUE INTERNATIONAL 2018’s “INNOVATION CORRAL”

New versions of the company’s 360/VR cameras now allow search & rescue to combine color video and near-infrared illumination, as well as to stream directly to the cloud over 4G-LTE

[Dallas, Texas, August 10, 2018] Bounce Imaging, a leading provider of advanced tactical cameras for fire/rescue, industrial safety, law enforcement, and defense, has announced a new version of its 360-degree safety/rescue cameras at the Fire-Rescue International 2018 conference in Dallas, Texas. In its first year at the conference, Bounce Imaging was selected to be highlighted along with other cutting-edge fire and rescue technology companies in the “Innovation Corral”. Learn more about the Innovation Corral here.

At the show, the company announced that it is releasing new versions of its 360-degree/VR rescue cameras that can use both color video and infrared illumination via changes to its lenses and illumination systems. In addition, the company announced that the 4G-LTE capability it has recently added to its tactical camera systems (in partnership with Verizon) has also been extended to its rescue and safety camera systems.

“We are constantly working to push forward our technology to better serve the needs of first-responders. These new system capabilities and our growing partnership with Verizon on the 4G-LTE front are just two ways we are working to fulfill our commitment to bring cutting-edge technologies to first-response at cost accessible even to small departments.” – Francisco Aguilar, CEO Bounce Imaging

Bounce Imaging’s 360-degree camera systems were recognized earlier in 2018 as the First Place Winner at TEEX/Disaster City’s Under Fire Response Challenge for cutting-edge technologies in first-response. Its cameras have also been named CNN, Popular Science, and CNN Best Inventions and have been featured in popular shows like NCIS: LA, CSI: Cyber, and CBS’s Innovation Nation, among others. Bounce Imaging is a MassChallenge, 43North, and Luminate company and in 2015 was awarded the $1M Verizon Powerful Answers Award.

Bounce Imaging is based in New York State as part of the 43North and Luminate programs. All its products are manufacturing in the USA in partnership with Lightspeed Manufacturing.
